Residents

Moyer District Library provides free library cards to all residents living within the GCMS School District boundaries, including the villages and surrounding areas of Gibson City, Elliott, Sibley and Foosland. Peach Orchard residents in Melvin are required to obtain a card from Melvin Public Library. This card may be used at Moyer.

Children may obtain a library card when their parent/guardian believes they are ready. Parents/guardians are responsible for the items their child checks out. Moyer District Library will not restrict or censor library materials the child selects.

Not sure if you’re a resident? Check for Moyer District Library on your tax bill. You may also enter your address in this map of Illinois Library Districts

Non-Residents

If you live outside of the GCMS School District, you may obtain a non-resident card if:

  • You do not pay property taxes to any other library district
